I am feeling like writing  a detailed notes this time. Monday I called and spoke to my illustrator Soumya over the Board Game 1. She is back in form after losing her old ipencil. We are done with the major illustration work. One side of the board is done. Another side with rules of how to play and writing 'about us' is pending. Cant wait to share it with our supporters. a draft   Dhruva recovered from fever, meanwhile Sujay fell ill. Its the same infection. By weekend he recovered too. There was no need of antibiotic. I suddenly got a wish to turn my hair grey. Atleast the front few like Indira Gandhi. Sujay is 32, and his hair is half grey already. Mine are turning grey too. He said if we pluck the grey hair they will double. He saved my money, supposed to be spent at saloon. I am on mission grey hair now! Plucking one by one as and when they appear. House of the dragon season 3's here. Thankfully on Jiohotstar. Otherwise I had buy Netflix subscription or wait ...

Monday at home we had 'Vaarshika Deva Kaarya' few poojas that we do annually. Was busy the whole day (also the day before and the day after). As always I was wondering about what the priests chant and do. I wish to know the meaning behind every action. There are no good books available, and priests are too occupied to explain.  Back to work I took a concrete decor making class, for 1499rs, recorded class of 4hours. I was hoping to learn do's and dont's of working with white cement. But it was an utter waste of money and time. I watched two movies, both Malayalam. First is 'Hridayam', this was my second time watching. I love the songs, and the character of Pranav Mohanlal. I love that lady 'Kalyani Priyadarshanan' My God she is so gorgeous!. They make a good pair. The story goes so smooth, this would be one such movies that I would love to watch again and again. Second was 'Drishyam 3', Drishyam 1 was ultimate, the prequel was good too. 3rd part i...

Week 23/2026: July 8th to 14th

My disc pain has not reduced, its getting very annoying. I cant sleep peacefully, during nights it worsens. Monday I went to the Government Hospital to meet the surgeon,, of whom I jad got good reviews. As soon as I told I habe this problem, he was hopeless to cure. He just gave Ibuprofen, which is not at all useful, I have had a lot of painkillers. But I took in the hope. It didn't help,. I am worried I will be stuck with this pain throughout my life now, I sometimes feel like I better die soon than consuming this😌  From the next day just to forget the pain I started planning my plant shop again. I am designing a stand, that I can put up in local stores for displaying plants and pots. I also ordered few craft things online. I ordered few books. The school started, I conducted the first class on Friday On Saturday and Sunday I am preparing to write for my column in Shramajeevi. I am also planning an article for Current Conservation Kids (this is just a submission, no hopes to get...

Week 21 & 22/2026: May 25th Monday to June 7th Sunday

I didn't notice I missed writing last week. I had actually lost track of dates πŸ˜…. I am blessed to have that liberty! I don't even remember what happened both the weeks, I didn't mind noting down the happenings daily. I was also pestering Sujay to get an electric car for me/autogear one (second hand ofcourse). But Sujay strictly said its not possible this year. I can't go by scooter now, the ola we have is too heavy and it started raining, rains will last at least 4 months, schools reopened i have to start attending classes. If i am doing pots and plants I would have to travel to city. Also I cant take Dhruva in scooter alone, from all these points I wanted a car. Sujay says to learn drive Duster, its such a huge car I am not confident about handling. I tried but I messed up the clutch break accelerator thing. We have three cars at home. Ford Ecosport which my brother in law drives, an MG Comet Ev which my sister in law drives, and Renault Duster which Sujay drives. ...

Week 20/206: 18 May Monday to 24 May Sunday

Monday I started planning a short trip to Mysore. Since Dhruva’s birth we have not been anywhere, literally nowhere, not even travelled more than 150 kms. Otherwise we would go on a trip to a different state every year. Rajasthan, Kashmir, Odisha, Sikkim and Darjeeling. Four years and four states. And then came Dhruva. I like travelling, to see places and experience the differences. Differences in people, history, culture, agriculture, climate, language, heritage, food, traditions, textiles, artworks, everything. My itinerary would be fullllll of places to visit. I do not spend time at the hotel we stay in, or on breakfast and lunch breaks. Travel literally means travel for me, from 8 in the morning to 8 in the night, sometimes beyond. I am saying “I” because Sujay is with me just for being there. He does not really like travelling. But it is not possible now, at least till Dhruva grows to 3 or 4 years old and learns to enjoy travelling. I hope he will become my travelling partner, rep...

Week 19/2026: 11 May to 17May 2026

It is a small chill break after a week long camp. The camp went so well by God’s grace, and the happiness of its success stayed with me throughout the week. I am now making a booklet and need to write two or three articles for the newspaper. I do not know when I will be able to complete all these tasks. I also need to pick up pace in utilising NMG effectively. I slowly got back to work. I completed and sent an article for my Shramajeevi column, and also wrote one for Sudha Weekly on peperomias. I watched the movie Kumbalangi Nights again. This was my second time watching it. It is such a beautiful film. The music, the scenery, the characters, the story, the values it carries, and the thrill of not knowing what happens next, I love everything about it. I had ordered a few silicone moulds for making pots and planters. They arrived, and I made some pots using white cement. They turned out really well and looked very attractive. I am now thinking of hiring someone to run this small busines...

Wohooooo. Past 15 days were the most productive time of this year. Phasalu is done with the first chapter of its most ambitious project 'Agri-Art-Theatre'. From planning the camp to the execution, I poured my whole energy and brain, for it turned out to be the best ever that can happen!. 25 students, 7 days 7 agri themes, 3 resource persons I have a lot lot lot to tell about but still organizing what to tell. I need time to digest what and all happened. This chaos of happiness may continue till a month. I am thinking to come up with a booklet, with every moment of what happened during the camp, the before, and the after. It will take a time lot more than what it took during planning. It was so so refreshing and insightful working with kids. I have lots of pictures too.  . Sharing only one here. In between several other interesting things happened. I took part as resource person on agri quiz 'krishi rasa prashne' conducted by 'Sonda Swarnavalli Matha'...
