Wek 25/2026 : 22nd June Monday to 28th June Sunday
I am feeling like writing a detailed notes this time.
Monday I called and spoke to my illustrator Soumya over the Board Game 1. She is back in form after losing her old ipencil. We are done with the major illustration work. One side of the board is done. Another side with rules of how to play and writing 'about us' is pending. Cant wait to share it with our supporters.
Dhruva recovered from fever, meanwhile Sujay fell ill. Its the same infection. By weekend he recovered too. There was no need of antibiotic.
I suddenly got a wish to turn my hair grey. Atleast the front few like Indira Gandhi. Sujay is 32, and his hair is half grey already. Mine are turning grey too. He said if we pluck the grey hair they will double. He saved my money, supposed to be spent at saloon. I am on mission grey hair now! Plucking one by one as and when they appear.
House of the dragon season 3's here. Thankfully on Jiohotstar. Otherwise I had buy Netflix subscription or wait for pirated episodes to be released. No need of both now. I wait for the Monday's. I am a mad fan. Episode 1 was wow.
I completed reading two books. 'Pradosha' by Ravi Belagere. A black magic story, but half written. I wished Belagere could have completed this one more classic before dying. Second was 'Persepolis' by Marjan Satrapi, a graphic novel translated to Kannada. Its about an Irani girl, growing up during the wars, the Hijab and the other religious rules, How she survives being a French scholar, moving to different countries coming back, getting married divorced etc etc. I liked the book
Wednesday we had an eat out after long time. We ate Masala Dosa, Girmit at a tiffin center. And I ate triple chocolate Brownie and momos at a newly opened outlet named Waffle Truffle. Whenever we go out to eat Dhruva orders Masala Dosa. That too himself. He calls the waiter and shouts 'Maama,,, Machaale doche' to the waiter. very advanced for a kid of 19 months.
Thursday I spent half a day at the polyhouse. The plants were over grown. I had to repot them, clean the plant stand as well. At the end my back pain got worsened. I cried the whole night. My condition was pathetic. Couldn't sleep, couldn't lay down, couldn't sit. I could only stand.
From some relatives we got to know that a lady near Yellapur gives folk medicine for disc problems. We went there on Sunday morning. Got the medicine. I have to grind the powder made of some herbs, with coconut and drink early morning in empty stomach for a week. I am hoping atleast this medicine will heal my pain or atleast reduce.
It has finally started raining. Weather report says good rain for two weeks and dry spells the next two. Elnino effect. Between the drizzling rain and the sun we spotted this Rainbow Saturday afternoon. Always magical.
I watched webseries 'Titan' story of the Tata's watches. So well made. I loved.
Saturday we also went to 'Halasina Mela', the jackfruit festival conducted by Kadamba and Nelasiri Organics. It was so nice to see so many women selling their home made products.
Sunday was a busy day. Traveling half day to get the medicine. To a pepper nursery on the way back. Then to get Dhruva's polio drops. Then going to Kabbe for my uncle's house on the invitation for the pooja. Then going to Jnanesh Hegde's house - to eat Jaboticaba and many others exotic fruits. Then to an aunt's house again for a pooja. Tired. Back pain again. Lets hope I recover with the new medicine.
