Week 21 & 22/2026: May 25th Monday to June 7th Sunday
I didn't notice I missed writing last week. I had actually lost track of dates π
. I am blessed to have that liberty!
I don't even remember what happened both the weeks, I didn't mind noting down the happenings daily.
I was also pestering Sujay to get an electric car for me/autogear one (second hand ofcourse). But Sujay strictly said its not possible this year. I can't go by scooter now, the ola we have is too heavy and it started raining, rains will last at least 4 months, schools reopened i have to start attending classes. If i am doing pots and plants I would have to travel to city. Also I cant take Dhruva in scooter alone, from all these points I wanted a car. Sujay says to learn drive Duster, its such a huge car I am not confident about handling. I tried but I messed up the clutch break accelerator thing. We have three cars at home. Ford Ecosport which my brother in law drives, an MG Comet Ev which my sister in law drives, and Renault Duster which Sujay drives. I feel the EV we have is so comfortable. My request will go on for until I get oneπ
I was so bored at home I came to stay at my parents for few days.
Few highlights are these
I read two books
Cutout (a novel - where the protagonist is mad about a film star, and wants to direct a film for him, his struggles etc)
Meshtragiri (the famous environmentalist Mr.Kalave writes about his experiences of being a nature educator)
I watched a movie
Loakh Chapter 1 Chandra (Chandra is a Yakshi - those which come in Kerala folk stories) I liked that more superhero movies are coming up in Indian industry (I like this genre)
I wrote a short article for Sudha Weekly on peperomias
We went on few family outings.
To Unchalli Falls
With my cousins, and my ammas cousins, Its always a treat to see Aghanashini ♥️
To Halasina mela
With our neighbor, We ate raw Jackfruit kebab, very unique
To Essentia resort
With oir neighbor. Just for a change. The food was very very tasty. But too costly. Starter+meal+dessert costed 700/head. that's too much for a place like sirsi. But the resort is great.
Wrt work
Phasalu's work is lagging. Illustrator said her ipen got spoiled, she is getting it repaired, would take till 13th. I cant do much than waiting.
So I am focusing on pots now. I bought more moulds, made more pots, this time in a little professional way. Family liked them, encouraged me to do more.
I am preparing for more plants. Purchasing pots, perlite etc. I am also planning a custom shelf so that i can display pots and plants In local supermarkets.
Sunday came appa's friend's daughter. She had her CET ranks, around 15k for BSc Agri. She wanted to study BSc horticulture in the same college I studied. She came to ask about scope of the course. I asked what she wanted to do, why horticulture. She said she wanted to do BVSc, which is now impossible because of her low rank, but she has one plan left, to get into bvsc throug appearing for NDA, she has one last attempt left on September. BSc is just for safety. I said her to drop for one year. Study for NDA, if it doesn't happen, then focus on NEET. But she is too sacred to drop. Dropping for an year, sitting at home to study is not in trend here, NOBODY does that, it's portrayed as a failure, and not as a space to take break and prepare better! I suggested her to drop sit read and prepare for her interests. I don't know what she will do.
