Week 24/2026 : June 15th Monday to June 21st Sunday

Monday at home we had 'Vaarshika Deva Kaarya' few poojas that we do annually. Was busy the whole day (also the day before and the day after). As always I was wondering about what the priests chant and do. I wish to know the meaning behind every action. There are no good books available, and priests are too occupied to explain.

Back to work I took a concrete decor making class, for 1499rs, recorded class of 4hours. I was hoping to learn do's and dont's of working with white cement. But it was an utter waste of money and time.

I watched two movies, both Malayalam. First is 'Hridayam', this was my second time watching. I love the songs, and the character of Pranav Mohanlal. I love that lady 'Kalyani Priyadarshanan' My God she is so gorgeous!. They make a good pair. The story goes so smooth, this would be one such movies that I would love to watch again and again. Second was 'Drishyam 3', Drishyam 1 was ultimate, the prequel was good too. 3rd part is okish, but climax is unpredictable.

I completed reading the novel 'Priye Charusheele' a love story set around the Ratha Yatra of Puri. It brought back the memories of Odisha tour.
Priye Charusheele
We had been to this tiny lake near home, which is now full with lotus blooms

On Wednesday me and Sujay were invited to deliver a talk to 'Kansoor primary Society'. Sujay was supposed to talk about pepper cultivation, and me to talk about how to make children curious about agriculture. We hoped atleast 15 20 people to attend, but there were 70+ such a huge number!. Although I talked for just 5 minutes as all there were elders 50+ who might not be interested in what I talk (there were not interested). Sujay is going there one day every month for consultation. We also had to pick one more resource person on the way, Madev Hegde Gadikai, a 75 year old farmer, pioneer in cultivation of multiple crops in our district. I jad a good time conversing with him. Talking to an elder about 'those old days' when resources were minimum, is so much fun! I so wish to write a book/blog series compiling the experiences/goof old days of 80+ elders, including my own ajja.
As the weekend approached Dhruva fell sick. Fever. Just fever. Hoping for his recovery.
