Week 14: 30th March Monday to 5th April Sunday

Oh! this was a busy week. I was planning planning and planning; The camp. And done. Designing the first day was so tough. And slowly I got hold of what I was doing. So planning other days was easier. But I was exhausted. Took a 2 3 days break.

I read all the magazines pending. Read 'the little rainmaker'. Story: there is no water in the world. A 10 year old girl dreams of bringing rain. The book is for children. I wanted to try. It is read worthy. I watched two movies. Sulemani Keeda (two struggling Bollywood story writers and around them) & Eleven (mystery psycho thriller around of serial killing of twins).

On Wednesday I attended a special event. Along the river banks of Aghanashini there is a hugeeeeee diversity of appemidi (pickling mangoes). Several Organisations of the region are trying to get this declared to be 'biodiversity heritage site'. There was a three day walk documenting the flora. I couldn't do the walk (I wished to). I attended the valedictory function. There's been a proposal to construct dams, and link the river to other districts. This walk and documentation is to justify why the river linking not to be done (building dam is a sh*t proposal, useless, illogical). On the last day, varietal diversity of appemidi was displayed (this has GI tag BTW).
Appemidi🤤

The stage, on the river banks of Aghanashini (Nagarakodi) under the appemidi it self!

We went to hubli on Saturday, for 2 days. For shopping after a long long time like almost two years. There are big malls, bigger brands. I didn't buy any dress. Even Sujay. Bought 3 dresses for Dhruva (is that what is parenthood 😬). I am mad about things at Miniso. I withhold my cravings to buy. At last bought a cute pocket diary. We went to Mr. Diy, this was our first time at this store. We bought some items for home. There were artificial succulent and orchid plants. They were so real looking. We bought six of them! Costing average 200 rs. We wish we had more time exploring Mr.Diy. we went to Sapna book house. Again bought some sketchbooks and notebooks. Dhruva enjoyed his time there. He was flipping all the books, and carried a cartoon one. The staff there were amazed to see a 16 month boy flipping the book and identifying pictures! I make him rrad everyday from day 1 of his birth (i myself read a lot in front of him). He has never torn a single page. He loves to carry books in his hand. He identifies all the things he sees daily like fruits vegetables birds animals actions vehicles etc. Hope this hobby of his continues forever ♥️.

I went to watch Dhurandar, the revenge. The first part i had watched on mobile. I had Goosebumps. I decided to watch second part on big screen then and there. It turned out a disappointment. It looked like propaganda for me too, justifying the Modi government's doings. There is no tight story, tooo much of violence. The hero doesn't die even when attacked brutally! There might be truth in the movie, but too much exaggerated. But surprisingly it didn't bore me anywhere. Did you watch? Tell me how you felt in comments.
