Week 8 and 9/2026: February 16th to Feb 28th
I am writing two weeks together. I felt the days were longer, and me is doing a lot of productive work.
With Dhruva, the journey of weaning off started. I can't call it a journey now, because he stopped feeding just in two days! That was not at all hard (for me for him). 1 year and 2 months. Finally I am free from breastfeeding. I feel back; back to myslef ; back to the nights I longed for.
This time I wrote a small article of just 500 words for my column. I didn't have the patience to write bigger one. Also wrote a 300 word article for Sudha - on monstera.
I watched two movies. One is athiran, a malayalam mystery thriller. I liked it. Another is Dhurandar. Oh I loved how Ranveer Singh has played the character. Those eyes, those long hair, the music that plays in the background, the perception he creates as a patriot, his masculinity, ufff. I have always loved how he gets himself into the character. I am always an admirer of his acting. Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani, Gully Boy, lootera, Ram Leela, I am into all the characters played here! He is soooo versatile.
I said I am planning something big. One is a summer learning program that I want to conduct for school children. I planned one from Phasalu around Agri-Art-Theatre. This is a very ambitious program that I am planning. I am into raising funds locally from different institutions, and donors. I am approaching schools to get students recommended. I am back to work. All thanks to my appa amma who are looking after Dhruva while I do this.
Meanwhile we are having 'Marikamba Jatre', which will run from feb 24th to March 4th. Iwe took Dhruva to experience the vibes. He enjoyed. I went alone one day to explore the mela market, bought many things for home.
The second big plan was to put up our own shop at jatre. To sell plants. I had also ordered material worth 4k online. But those didn't meet my expectations. So I am postponing this idea to 2028, for the next jatre.
I also wrote a story for childrens picture book, sent to several publishers. Lets see if anyone responds.
