Week 52/2025: 22nd Dec Monday to 28th dec Sunday

This week I was super free. Newsletters were done; was done with submission of two articles. My goals for December were met. My mind was planning some more work. Body was telling no. So I let myself free, just pass time.

On nights I completed watching 3rd season of Demon slayer. Watched Amir Khan & Kareena Kapoor wala 'Talash' (this I wanted to watch from very very long time, I super liked it)

I had few good photos of Dhruva, which I thought should be made into album. No cloud, No drives can keep them forever. Prolab has many good templates of economy editions at 999rs, we can also make a blank album which can accommodate as many photos we want. I had 3 previous orders customized from them. This is my 4th buy. 

24th was my FIL (Sujay's appa's) ತಿಥಿ. He had died before I got married to Sujay, I have never seen him.

On Saturday Sujay's friend Prashanth, and his wife Gayatri came home. Both happens to be my seniors at horti college. They wanted to visit our farm from long time. 

Something interesting that I read : On Natgeo magazine, there was an article about scientific studies on hibernating humans. It was thrilling to read how scientists are planning to impart the hibernating qualities in Bears and some other herbivores into humans.

On the Farm : Hitachi is still leveling our farm land. We are harvesting black pepper. We white washed areca Palm's stem (to save from sun scorch).

From last week’s post; yes, the lumbar back pain! It still hasn’t improved. But I’m slowly moving forward with the feeling that it has become a part of my life, and I just have to embrace it as my own. The only solution is to lay down & not stress the nerves, which is something I obviously cannot afford at this age and stage. Still, I’m thankful to God that it didn’t trouble me during the third trimester and post delivery. Week 2/2026: 5 Jan to 11 Jan

Ah what a good start to the year 2026! The week was colorful.  Of course cough and cold season's not over, but I got over it. Also the back pain, looks like it's going to stay with me forever, I have to move on; this week I mostly ignored it too. First was completing crocheting the iPhone mobile pocket. It's been incomplete for so many many days, and completing it was a pure achievement.  Monday morning I went for shopping at 'reliance trends' and 'babyhug'. There are not many malls like this here in our small town. Even the collection in this shops are also limited, very boring types. I went with an intention of buying some new kurtas of L size (M doesn't fit my mom body anymore), and I didn't like any. I came back. But it was so refreshing. Week 50/2025 : 8th December to 14 December

Dhruva is an year old. And it was time for vaccination. Typhoid+Hepatitis A. He already knew something bad is going to happen when we laid him on the hospital bed. He started crying way before doctor took out needle. Hungama lasted couple of minutes. We said thank you to our paediatrician in our own way: by giving a personalized notebook with our doc's name and a little embroidery. And we didn't miss giving chocolates to the nurse aunty. The little embroidered diary We had a pizza on the way back home at 'La pinoz'. We love the Indian flavours at La Pinoz. We have a domino's, but we don't go there. We don't like the thick crust of the pizza base. Although dhruva can eat anything now,, we prefer not to give junk untill he becomes aware of healthy v/s not.
