Week 48 / 2025: Monday 23rd Nov to Sunday 30th Nov

From last week’s post; yes, the lumbar back pain! It still hasn’t improved. But I’m slowly moving forward with the feeling that it has become a part of my life, and I just have to embrace it as my own. The only solution is to lay down & not stress the nerves, which is something I obviously cannot afford at this age and stage. Still, I’m thankful to God that it didn’t trouble me during the third trimester and post delivery. God truly has His own plans.  My reading has stopped for now as I’m slowly getting back to my pending work. But watching? That hasn’t stopped. I’m really enjoying the anime 'Demon Slayer'. I found out that 'Family Man Season3' is out on prime and I shifted to wtaching my most favorite series now. I had said I was crocheting a sling bag, but the plan changed when I saw a trendy crochet iPhone pocket on Instagram. So I jumped from the sling bag to the pocket easier, but still time consuming. I’m doing it slowly. I also finished two embroidery proje...

Week 46 & 47/2025: Monday 10th Nov to Sunday 23rdNov

Sad days, which I am afraid of, are back. My lumbar back pain has returned after two years. I can’t stand straight, can’t put a firm step forward. The pain shoots down from hip to left leg. It hurts badly. I somehow knew the pain would return. It has already happened—the very thing I carefully tried to avoid. It feels like it is now tied to my life, returning whenever my fate is not good. I was expecting something like this to happen by mid-November. My horoscope shows bad days. It’s called 'Kuja–Rahu Sandhi'. Until now I was being ruled by the planet Kuja, and from now on it will be Rahu. It is said that Kuja and Rahu are opponents who dislike each other. Kuja is not willing to leave his power over me and not letting Rahu take over, whereas Rahu is all set to take charge. So the clash is affecting my health. Not just mine, but also of my dear ones, Sujay and Dhruva. Sujay had a wisdom tooth extraction from the lower jaw, and it hasn’t healed yet. His pain is shooting up to his...

Week 45/2025; 3rd Nov Monday to 9th Nov Sunday

My phone is finally back after repair. Newly released models like my Samsung A36 don’t have duplicate displays available, so we had to use an original one that cost 7.5k. I’m now extremely cautious while using it around Dhruva. If it falls again, I’m doomed. I’m also crocheting a sling bag to keep my phone in, so I don’t have to hold it in my hands while roaming around. I’m not obsessed with gold or jewellery, but I believe investing in gold is safer since it always appreciates in value. People like Sujay, who understand shares and mutual funds, call me dumb for thinking that way. But that’s fine. Savings are what matter. I pestered Sujay to invest some money to buy me a bit of gold this Diwali. I had a mimic neckpiece from Adore by Priyanka , and I asked our goldsmith to replicate it in gold. But he ruined it. It turned out very disappointing. Now I can’t change the design, and I can’t even make a new one because they charge extra making charges. I had also asked them to make ...

Week 44/2025: Monday 27th Oct to Sunday 2nd Nov 2025

My phone screen broke. It was Dhruva. He somehow got hold of it while it was lying on the bed. In just a blink, he took it and threw it phat! It fell screen facing the floor. This had happened several times before with no damage. But this time, when I picked it up and turned it on, it went blank. My heart stopped for a second. On one hand, it was my new phone, I had bought it just two months ago, and on the other, it had all the precious photos of Dhruva. We gave it for repair. They asked if we wanted an original screen for ₹8.5k or a duplicate one for ₹2.3k. We thought, since Dhruva will keep throwing the phone until he grows up, we’d get the duplicate. Now I’m more worried, it’s been nearly a week and they haven’t returned it. They said no compatible display is available since it’s a new model. I’m afraid I might not be able to use the phone anymore. Surprisingly, I wasn’t too disheartened. I don’t get many calls, and I can talk to my parents using Sujay’s phone. My WhatsA...
